EVERLASTING HOME
God of creation, from eternity
You are forever, You will always be,
You have journeyed with us all our days,
You are our Lord and You know all our ways.
Ere the mountains were formed by You
Or world and earth were brought forth,
You have been our dwelling place,
Our everlasting home.
Time, to you is as a passing night,
Thousands of years are but as yesterday;
We, like fleeting shadows take our flight,

All our days are but toil and strife,

You came and dwelt with Adam's fallen race,
